Frequently asked questions.
Answers to what homeowners usually ask before the first site walk. Don't see yours? Call (818) 923-4026.
+How long does a pool build take?
Most residential pools run 8–14 weeks from excavation to plaster, plus permitting. Sloped lots and raised structural decks add engineering review, which we start early so the schedule holds.
+Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
Yes — licensed, insured and bonded, and we pull our own permits. License and insurance certificates come with the estimate.
+Can one contract cover the pool, hardscape and planting?
That's how we prefer to work. Holding the walls, decking, pool and planting together removes the handoffs where elevations and drainage usually go wrong.
+Do you work on hillside and sloped lots?
Regularly. Engineered retaining walls, terracing, drainage and erosion control are core work for us across the hills of LA and Ventura counties.
+Is the estimate free?
Yes. We come out, walk the property, tell you what's possible and what isn't, and send a line-item estimate at no cost.
+Do retaining walls need a permit?
In most local jurisdictions, walls above roughly 3–4 feet, or any wall holding a surcharge, need engineered drawings and a permit — we handle both.
+Can you remodel an existing pool instead of rebuilding it?
Often, yes. Resurfacing, retiling and re-decking can be done on a sound existing shell; we'll tell you honestly if a rebuild is the better long-term call.
+Is artificial turf a good fit for this climate?
For most Southern California yards, yes — with a properly compacted base and drainage it stays flat, drains well and needs no irrigation.
+What areas do you serve?
Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Simi Valley, Chatsworth, Ventura, the San Fernando Valley, Beverly Hills and greater Los Angeles.
